Who would've thought that I would have the chance to meet Keira Cass... ❤️

Keira Cass is one of the most admired authors worldwide. The ever famous and glamorous Keira Cass, author of The Selection Series. 👑❤️ 

She released her first book, The Selection last 2012 and it was a huge hit! Not just for teenagers but also for kids and adults. Every girl's dream (or almost), of course would be to be a princess 👑 It's like imagining yourself to be in America's Situation. 35 girls, 1 prince. Then The Selection was followed by The Elite, The One and the latest book she released, The Heir. The series has 5 books and the fifth would be released next year entitled, The Happily Ever After. ❤️

September 20, 2015 in Manila International Book Fair 2015 at SMX convention, Pasay City, Keira Cass had her book signing event where a thousand girls and readers attended. It was like blood and sweat fighting for a spot. They offered 200 slots for the booksigning. I went there quarter to 9 am and was surprised to be welcomed by the loooooong line of fans. (Not exaggerating though) but the line started in front then ended up at the back of SMX. It's mixed with Cosplayers and Keira Cass fans. I didn't expect the number of people that day. By 9:45 am they started letting people in. By 10 am they opened the fair entrance and people started running to the line of registration. Only a true fan would know the feels. You'd do anything just to get your book signed by your favorite author. There are lots of complications, they told us that the registration was full already and won't extend anymore unlike the day before when they extended for Colleen Hoover's book signing event. A true reader's faith won't give up that easy, so we still stayed despite the bad news, hoping they'd try to extend and accommodate us. So registration started and the line was moving. We stayed for 2hrs standing there and slowly moving, without even knowing if we really have a chance or we're just waiting for nothing. So by 12:30, a miracle happened and National Bookstore staffs' told us that we should bring out the books for they will give us a number. We're soooo glad that they extended the event and accommodated atleast 500 of the fans. It's all worth it. The struggle and pain of standing and waiting for hours. We're all giddy and hopeful again. 😁 So they started giving numbers and I had number 453! I was shocked that I'm that far from 200 😭I'm still hesitant if that would guarantee me a spot but still hopeful that it's a sure chance. So line kept moving slowly but surely. When we're almost there at the registration which is just the back of the stage part, we heard the people shouting already, it's Keira!! Twas already 2 PM, but we still haven't registered our names yet. 2:30 PM when they started moving again and replaced our number cause they had miscounting problems. From 453 to 496. I'm still glad to still be below 500. 

The booksigning was actually fast. 20 people in 8mins or less. Woah! Keira is a super! 😁 By 3:30 I started preparing. When I'm so near the stage, I'm just all smiles seeing Keira so near. It's like a dream 😍 

Finally when it's my time!!! I was so speechless. 😍😁

My first book ever signed, the fact that it's my most wanted book and author, made it more special. ❤️😭 so precious! 

To all the fan girls I've met there and talked to, to the girls who waited like me and stayed hopeful, hooray for us!!! 😁❤️
